What coaches & parents say

Word from the stands

The gallery was up before our Monday film session. Kids were sharing the shots all week — best team-morale money we've spent.

Head Coach, Varsity FootballTemple High School

He caught my daughter's block at the net — the exact moment. That photo is framed in our living room now.

Professional on the sideline, invisible during play, and the senior banners looked like a D1 program made them.

How it works

Covered in three steps

Send your date

Game date, venue, and sport — that's all I need. You'll hear back within one business day with availability and a locked quote.

I shoot the game

Full-game sideline coverage: the action, the bench reactions, and the crowd that showed up. You won't have to manage me — I've worked these sidelines before.

Gallery in 72 hours

Behind the lens

Fast glass, faster reflexes

Youth, high school, and college athletics move fast — a tackle breaks, a shot falls, a header finds the net — and the moment is gone in a fraction of a second. That's the fraction I'm there for.

I'm Patrick Rayson, founder and lead professional photographer at SkyLens Imagery. I shoot with pro bodies and fast telephoto glass built for bad light and fast subjects, which is exactly what Friday night is. Every gallery is hand-culled and color-graded: sharp enough for a newspaper spread, clean enough for a senior banner.

Coaches, athletic directors, league organizers, and parents — from Saturday-morning youth games to Friday night varsity, if it happens on your field or court, I can shoot it.

Before you ask

Common questions

You're shooting my kid's youth game — how do I get the photos?

Register your athlete at skylensimagery.studio/register, or scan the SkyLens Imagery QR code at the field. It takes about a minute and costs $50 per athlete plus tax. No random photos are taken at youth games: only registered players are photographed. When the photos are ready you get a text and an email with your private gallery link, and you download them straight from the gallery. Lost the link? Use Find my photos.

How fast do we get the photos?

Galleries are delivered within 72 hours of the final whistle — usually sooner. Rush delivery for playoff or media deadlines is available; just mention it when you send your request.

Can parents buy prints, or does the school own the photos?

Families download their photos directly from their private gallery — no gatekeeping — and can ask about prints and banners. Schools and programs get usage rights for team pages, programs, and social media.

What if the game is rained out or rescheduled?

Reschedules move with your new date at no charge, subject to availability. The full cancellation policy is in your confirmation — no surprises.

Do you travel for away games or tournaments?

Yes. Local coverage is included in the package price; a straightforward travel fee applies beyond that radius. Tell me the venue and I'll include it in the quote.

How far in advance should we send our date?

A minimum of 48 hours, but Friday nights and playoff weeks fill first — most programs lock their dates 2–4 weeks out. Season packages get priority scheduling automatically.
